As of March 2011, I've sucessfully defended my Ph.D in Computer Science at University of California, San Diego under the guidance of Professor Serge Belongie at the UCSD Computer Vision Lab.

I got my Engineering degree in Computer Science at the Department of Computer Science at University of Chile, working with Professor Ricardo Baeza-Yates and co-advised by Professor Nello Cristianini in information retrieval and machine learning.

My research interests are computer vision and machine learning, specially object localization.
