Zak Murez

Biography

http://zak.murez.com/

I am currently a Ph.D. student at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) in Computer Science and Engineering studying computer vision. I am advised by Profs David Kriegman and Ravi Ramamoorthi. My recent work involves using deep learning for problems typically solved using physics based vision. Prior to that I was working on extending photometric stereo to situations where the standard assumptions don't apply.

I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Intensive Mathematics and Computer Science from Yale University in 2011. I also took many upper division physics, chemistry, and biology courses.
