Catherine Wah

Biography

PhD Graduate from UCSD in Computer Vision

In 2014, I completed my PhD in Computer Science at the University of California, San Diego, advised by Serge Belongie. My research interests are in the areas of computer vision, machine learning, and human computation.

I completed my Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2008, minoring in both Computer Science and Mathematics. As an undergraduate, I did research on hand tracking and gesture recognition with Thomas Huang.

Currently, I am a Software Engineer at Google.
