David J. Kriegman

Biography

In September 2002, I joined the Computer Science & Engineering Department at the University of California, San Diego. Previously, I was on the faculty at Computer Science Department and Beckman Institute at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and the Center for Computational Vision and Control and Electrical Engineering Department at Yale University.

From September 2007-August 2009, I was on a leave of absence at TAAZ, Inc. where we created the virtual makeover web site, taaz.com, which includes trying on of makeup, contact lenses, sunglasses, and celebrity hairstyles.
